With that said, allow me to introduce you to the cast of characters here - my toons!
Heeorc - lvl 80 Orc Hunter
Heeorc wasn't my first toon but he's since become my main work horse and collector of all things achievement. He's the most geared of my alts and can hold his own in pretty much any raid. He's dual-specced in survival and marksman and his professions are 450 mining and 450 inscription. I'll explain why he's a scribe in a later post.
Nooker - lvl 80 Undead Mage
Nooker -was- my first Horde toon. I leveled him to 70 back before the Wrath of the Lich King was released, spent a great deal of time in Karazhan and even got a bunch of PvP gear for him but by the time Wrath came out I was steadily using Heeorc much more, thus Nooker took the back seat. Once Heeorc was sufficiently geared and I was bored with him, Nooker got my full attention again and I brought him up to speed. Nooker's dual-specced in Frostfire and Arcane and his professions are 450 herbalism and 450 alchemy.
Dög - lvl 80 Blood Elf Paladin
I was tired of ranged DPS so I figured I might as well make a tank. Having seen some very efficient Pally tanks I decided that was the direction I'd go. I have to say, Dög is a really good tank! Even as I was leveling him I noticed I could take on elite bosses way higher than me thanks to my damage mitigation and survival skills. Tanking is fun, Dög makes it that way. He's dual-spec Protection and Holy, in case I ever need to (fail)heal and his professions are 460 Enchanting and 450 Jewelcrafting.
François - lvl 80 Blood Elf Warlock
I'm not going to lie, Warlocks do way too much damage and that's what led me to make François. My wife and I started characters together using refer-a-friend, hers a Tauren Druid and mine being François. I was level 50 before I knew it and didn't really know exactly how to play a Warlock as a result of leveling so quickly without needing to really play the class. Things have changed since then and Fran is really taking over as one of my favorite toons. François is single-spec Destruction and his professions are 440 Tailoring and 380 Enchanting.
I do have several other alts, all under level 50 but all still active day-to-day. I'll discuss them another time but in the meantime I'm going to try and write as often as possible about one of my toons per post. I'll also post relevant updates when something neat happens. I hope you enjoy this blog!
